Brian H. Jean has built his life and his legal career in Bay County. A lifelong member of this community, he has spent his career in the courtroom, advocating for clients, working with families, and earning a reputation for diligence, preparation, and respect for everyone he encounters in the practice of law.

Bay County Roots

Home, family, and a lifelong connection to the community he hopes to serve.

Brian H. Jean is a Bay County native with deep roots in the local community. His family has lived here for nearly 200 years. His mom's side comes from a Southside Polish family, and his dad's side is from the Banks area.

His father worked for GM Powertrain for 42 years, and his mother worked for Independent Bank. Brian was raised right here, being homeschooled before attending CMU and Ave Maria School of Law in Michigan, and he has always called Bay County home.

During law school, Brian interned with the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, gaining early courtroom exposure before returning to Bay County to practice law.

Legal Career

More than a decade of private practice as a Michigan trial attorney.

Admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2010, Brian is owner at Revolution Law PLC in Bay City, where his practice centers on criminal defense, family law, and child-protective matters. With nearly 17 years' practice, he has represented individuals and families across Bay County and the surrounding region. He also has experience handling complex civil litigation, including trademark issues for local businesses in the Federal Courts.

He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Courtroom Experience

A practicing trial lawyer, regularly before the bench.

Brian's career has been built in the courtroom. He has appeared before judges throughout Michigan on motions, hearings, and trials, and has tried numerous cases before juries. That day-to-day trial experience has given him a practical, firsthand understanding of how a courtroom should be run: efficiently, attentively, and with respect for every party who appears before it.

Community Involvement

Service to the legal profession and to the wider community.

Brian believes in giving back to the community that raised him. He served as President of the Bay County Bar Association and as a Trustee of Williams Township from 2016 to 2024, and has taught criminal law and procedure as an adjunct instructor at the Delta College Police Academy. He has also contributed his time to local boards and civic organizations across the Great Lakes Bay region.

Family & Personal

Faith, family, and life in Bay County.

Brian is married to his loving, faith-filled wife Terese, who is a source of inspiration and wisdom. He has five children, ages 17, 15, 12, 11, and 8 months old. He enjoys showing his children the world through travel, watching them compete in sports, and teaching them the faith.

Brian also greatly enjoys cooking, particularly French and Italian cuisine, and he prides himself on his authentic carbonara and coq au vin dishes that frequently get terrible reviews from the mac and cheese crowd.
